The Brief:  Fabrication and installation of custom metalwork:

• Balustrade bottom rail to match the rise and going of stairs, running all the way up to the ceiling

• Sliding TV surround

• Kitchen splashback surrounds

• Benchtop infill

• Custom steel door handles

 

Materials Used: Powder-coated electro dark bronze aluminium and steel

Fabrication: The fabrication process included some of the following steps:

• Measurements of the staircase, TV unit and kitchen area were taken on-site.

• The balustrade and fabricated in the workshop. 

• Kitchen and TV surround sections were measured, drawn and laser cut and then sent for powder-coating

 

Installation: The installation process included some of the following steps:

• Staircase balustrade screw fixed to ceiling and risers. 

• TV surround screw fixed behind plaster for concealed fixings, then battened by the builder.

• The benchtop infill was supplied to the builder for integration into the stone benchtop. 

• Kitchen sections supplied and installed by the builder.
